Mustang Way
Gunnison Elementary uses the Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports that we identify as "The Mustang Way." We focus on being safe, respectful, and responsible in all settings throughout the school including in classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, the lunchroom, the playground, and on the buses. We also encourage these positive and thoughtful behaviors at home and in public locations.
You will find posters in a variety of locations around the school which give details and examples of how each idea looks in each of these places.
We will also be focusing on skills the students can use in promoting these ideas and other positive behaviors used by citizens of a community.
